    二十世紀以還﹐簡帛文獻大量出土﹐其中包括了不少古醫佚籍﹐其所記處方及藥名除部分見於傳世醫書外﹐更有流傅至今者。 而有關香港中草藥研究之書籍雖對香港所見中草藥有翔實紀錄﹐部分所載藥名既有與簡帛醫籍相對應者﹐然亦間有因同藥異名而未為吾人所認知者﹐又有因缺乏古文字知識而對簡帛醫藥文字釋讀多所誤解者。 而近年香港對中醫藥之應用及研究日趨重視﹐簡帛醫藥文獻既能保留最古老的原始面貌﹐其真確性實乃傳世文獻所無法比擬者﹐今擬利用該等珍貴原始資料﹐結合傳世醫籍﹐連繫香港中草藥之研究﹐探究古今中藥方劑之異同﹐在斷症之處方及藥物應用上取長補短﹐促進香港中醫中藥之發展。 (AL03755)

    The project will (1) provide quality services in reviewing and revising the organization of Chinese history elements (including the history of Hong Kong) through a combined history approach in the proposed curriculum framework of History and Culture within the Personal, Social and Humanities Education Key Learning Area Curriculum Guide (Primary 1- Secondary 3) 2002; (2) prepare at least 5 expository articles on related issues; (3) develop 5 sets of exemplary learning and teaching materials; and (4) organize four 3-hour teacher development seminars.
